Still the best place for daifuku, fresh strawberries daily that complement the overall dessert! The owner is also very generous and meticulous when it comes to quality, they won’t compromise to give the best daifuku experience. They actually went to Japan to learn how to make daifuku, so you know it’s authentic. I’ve tried a couple of daifuku variations from them and the recent one with their seasonal daifuku was a nice and immersive touch as they include the red thread for you to slice the daifuku! Made me feel like I was in Japan indeed their genmaicha is another item on their menu that I really enjoy, the roasted brown rice’s flavour was fragrantly aromatic!
The best daifuku i had in Malaysia! Big strawberries and sweet! Highly recommend!! The cold udon is surprisingly good too!
I’m always about supporting businesses that have heart, and Mimi Daifuku has it in spades Aside from their yummy daifuku, they are a big supporter of local initiatives as well. I swapped my book for Books On The Move and the team was so accommodating! Highly highly recommend!!! Note: the space is small and doesn’t have wifi. It’s not suitable for taking calls or remote working, but perfect for intimate cozy 1:1 catch-ups in a beautiful space
I tried almost everything — and each bite was a little escape: Seasonal Daifuku – soft mochi, juicy imported fruit. Melts in your mouth. Sweet but not jelak. Like a hug in dessert form. Signature Mixed Daifuku (Matcha + Original Red Bean) – chewy, creamy, and fresh. That slight bitterness from matcha? Obsessed. Cold Kishimen with Onsen Egg – flat udon, chilled with homemade sauce + tobiko. SO refreshing. Like Japanese salad vibes, but better. Salmon Bento – simple, clean, satisfying. Perfect for lunch. Tamago dia lembut gila Matcha Dango with Red Bean & Strawberry – the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes with the first bite. Niko Neko Yuri matcha = always a slay. Yuri Matcha & Tsubaki Houjicha Latte – both smooth & premium. Not overly milky. Betul-betul rasa teh dia. ⸻ This café feels like calm. Feels like Japan. Feels like a secret you’ll want to keep (but also can’t stop sharing). @mimi.daifuku
If you love daifuku so much, I will say this café worth to visit. I would says the cafe so aesthetic and and it brings back the memories in Japan. I have ordered Onigiri Daifuku, Mikan Classic Daifuku, Prosperitea, Ichigo Daifuku, Salmon Bento, Unagi Bento, Rolling in Gold. Each of the dishes prepare in detail, fresh and use premium ingredients. Worth for the price. Service is tiptoe and definitely recommend to visit.
Attentive, friendly and helpful staffs. Love the Daifuku and Chazuke here. Small shop with cosy and comfortable environment. A good place to chill and hangout. Social media worthy interior and exterior.
